What is Charity of the Year?
Charity of the Year is a special partnership between a company or organisation and a chosen charity. Some businesses support a new charity each year, while others build a long-term relationship, making the partnership part of their culture.
You don’t need to be a large company. Clubs, societies, small businesses and creative teams can all take part.

Ways to Get Involved
A Charity of the Year partnership can take many forms. Here are some ways businesses and organisations have chosen to support us:
- Donating – give a one-off donation or contribute a set percentage of company profits.
- Year-round Fundraising – organise events big or small, from bake sales and dress down days to quiz nights or gala dinners. Some companies also use match funding schemes to boost fundraising.
- Team Challenges – take on a sponsored run, cycle, walk, or adventure challenge. These activities are great for team building while raising funds.
- Creative Ideas – we love new and unique ways for businesses to get involved. Our fundraising team is always happy to discuss your ideas.
All fund raised stay in the local community.
